2. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 340 S Lemon Ave #4133, Walnut, CA 91789, USA, delivered via European server locations. The following data is stored automatically on each visit:

• IP address of the requesting device
• Date and time of access
• Name and URL of the file retrieved
• Browser type, version and operating system
• Referrer URL, if transmitted

Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. The legitimate interest lies in technically error-free operation and in the security of the systems.
Retention: 7 days, then automatic deletion.

3. Fonts

The fonts used (Source Serif 4 and Inter) are served locally from our own server. There is no connection to Google servers and no data is transmitted to third parties.

4. Cookies and storage on your device

This website sets no cookies. No other information is stored on or read from your device, neither via local storage nor session storage nor comparable techniques.

Since no storage of or access to information on your device takes place, § 25 (1) TDDDG does not apply. A consent banner is therefore not required.

5. Reach measurement (Plausible Analytics)

Plausible Analytics is used to evaluate use of this website, a service of Plausible Insights OÜ, Västriku tn 2, 50403 Tartu, Estonia. The service works without cookies and stores no identifiers on your device. Processing takes place on servers inside the European Union. Only aggregated information is recorded: page visited, referrer, approximate region, device type, operating system, browser, and the sending of the contact form as a plain counter event without any form content.

Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. The legitimate interest is in evaluating reach and technical function.
Retention: Only aggregated statistics are kept and these carry no personal reference.

6. Contact form

When you use the contact form, the data you enter (name, email address, message) is stored in order to process your enquiry and answer follow-up questions.

Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR for enquiries with a contractual background, otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.
Retention: Until your enquiry is fully dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

6a. Email delivery of the contact form (Resend)

Messages sent through the contact form are delivered by email using Resend, a service operated by Plus Five Five, Inc., 2261 Market Street #5039, San Francisco, CA 94114, USA. The data you entered (name, email address, message) is transmitted, together with the language version and the page from which the message was sent. Resend processes this data solely in order to deliver the email, not for its own purposes.

You also receive an automatic confirmation of receipt at the address you provided, containing a copy of your message.

Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR for enquiries with a contractual background, otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, and Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR based on the consent given in the form.
Retention: Delivery logs are kept only briefly for technical traceability. The message itself remains in the email account and follows the periods stated in section 6.

By its own account the provider processes data in the USA, while email delivery for this domain runs on infrastructure inside the European Union. According to its own statement the provider is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; in addition, the Standard Contractual Clauses agreed in its data processing addendum apply under Art. 46 (2) (c) GDPR. This website links to a booking page hosted by Calendly LLC, 271 17th St NW, Atlanta, GA 30363, USA. The service is only used once you actively follow that link and leave this website.
